7 Days To Reading With The 4Ps

A Self-Directed Training For Taking Ownership Of Your Reading Experience

Some ideas make sense before they feel natural. You can understand that reading is active. You can understand that the reader has a role. You can understand that not every word needs the same amount of sound, attention, or effort. But when your eyes are actually moving across the page, old habits can take over quickly.

That is why this training exists.

7 Days To Reading With The 4Ps turns the Read Your Own Way framework into guided practice. The book explains the larger method and philosophy. This training helps you begin using it on the page, where reading actually happens.

The 4Ps of Phonological Support are Ping, Pause, Pass, and Pivot. A Ping gives important words more inner sound, weight, or emphasis. A Pause gives meaning room. A Pass lets familiar words move through with less inner sound when your eyes already recognize them. A Pivot lets you reshape wording in your own inner voice while preserving the meaning.

This is not speed-reading training. It is not a rigid system for labeling every word correctly or performing another method perfectly. The goal is to help you notice choices that may already be happening beneath the surface, then begin using those choices with more awareness and control.

Across seven days, you will move through simple lessons, guided readings, audio segments, and reflections designed to make the invisible parts of reading more visible. You will practice emphasis, silence, selectivity, flexibility, and ownership. You will learn when to hear more, when to hear less, when to pause, and when to let your inner voice take a better path.

The goal is not to master every move in a week. The goal is to feel the page differently. Less rigid. Less crowded. Less like something you obey. More like something you can shape.

If you want the Read Your Own Way method to become something you can actually feel while reading, start the training.
